When SADDI and i moved into a small apartment in downtown Portland, October 1997, we would spend on weekends on long walks. A Saturday market had just opened at the nearby college, so we went up there, as we often did during the week. i was shocked how crowded it was, so much so, i worried about SADDI with all the people not paying attention where they were walking. So i picked her up, cradled her in my arms, and we walked around the market like that. Often being stopped with comments about how beautiful SADDI is, how spoiled she is and how much i loved her to do this. SADDI thrived with all the attention.
