Finally, a positive memory from June (kinda). On this day, four years ago, i had the honor to marry Devon Yan at the Seattle Pride celebration. We announced that we were getting married (several post) after the parade, by the International fountain, in the shadow of the Space Needle. Only one of our so-called Seattle friends attended ... and the one who did took time off of work to come celebrate with us. We didn't even hear from any of our Seattle "friends". However, we received very generous gifts and beautiful cards from people we have never met or haven't seen for many years ... outside of Seattle. After our wedding, we went to the Crab Pot for a delicious dinner. i would have loved to have shared this very important moment in our life with the people we have encouraged, celebrated and unselfishly given our friendship. Today, i shall push aside the hurtful negatives, because they aren't worthy of thinking about ... my faithful love to my very talented husband is all that matters.
