This picture is 12 years old today. The day Devon arrived from China to join SADDI and i. The day that ended always hearing his dreams were "stupid" and the beginning of a life of being encouraged to go beyond his dreams. 12 years of challenges, fake friends, devastating heartbreak, health setbacks but a commitment to truth and love. This is the first picture of us as a family. And the smile on SADDI's face inspires me to keep believing in what we had 12 years ago. To know, with all my heart, that despite what attempts to hold us down, love and the truth will ensure that we thrive.
