Whenever i take my shower, i think of SADDI and how much she hated getting wet. In our small apartment, if she was laying in the front room, i'd turn on the shower and she would run into the bedroom, jumping up onto the bed. And that was when i was just turning on the water, to warm it up for me. But when it was her bath time, SADDI would be pressing her body against the bed pill-lows, making it more difficult for me to pick her to carry her into the bath. As we stepped into the bathtub, SADDI's paws would try to grab the glass door. As i gently placed on the tub floor, quickly closing the door so she didn't jump out. Every time, i had to be in the shower with SADDI. She would have her nose up against the edge of the door, even when i moved her to get some warm water on her, she'd move right back to where it would be easier to escape. As i soaped her up, rubbing her belly, massaging the soap into her back, i had to talk SADDI, reassuring her that everything was okay. Finally finished, rubbing off as much extra water as i could, squeezing and shaking her tail. i begged SADDI to shake her body while in the shower, but all she wanted was out. As soon as i got her out of the shower and in the middle of the bathroom, that was always where she had to shake off the water. Water going everywhere in the bathroom, soaking the toilet paper. i got the towel and just began wildly rubbing and drying her. SADDI seemed to enjoy all this activity, but she was still mad at me. When her thick black fur was a dry as i could get her, i would open the bathroom door and she ran out and jumped on the bed to shake again. i finished my own shower and came out to the bedroom, SADDI just glared at me. i tried to explain that she needed the bath and now she smelled so pretty. i would lay on the bed with her, trying to give her kisses as i talked to her, but she wanted nothing to do with me. Until i brought her some treat and slowly she began to forgive me.
