SADDI's last winter, we had three serious snow storms in just weeks. The first two, she was so happy to go outside and play. And even though rici and Devon were frozen, SADDI wanted to keep going. Making circles around us. Waiting for us to toss snowballs at her so she could try to catch them. It actually warmed my heart to see her so happy. Yet, by the third heavy snowfall, where high winds made snow drifts, about 3 feet high, against the house, SADDI went outside to do her business. As she peed, she was slowly melting in the snow. After she finished, she'd jump out and rushed inside. She was done. All she wanted to do now is be wrapped in a blanket and watch the snow from the comfort of her bed.
