Good Morning University of Washington ... part one

i left the house, just as the new day was changing the color in the sky.  The quiet made for a peaceful mile ride to the bus stop. The scent of sweet morning dew grass filled my lungs.  There was a lot of hope in my anticipation of what awaited me.  The 30 or so cherry blossom tree's, that grace the UW campus, are slowly waking up from the late winter snow we received.  But there were hints of the glorious colors arriving soon.  i did make a new squirrel friend, who was very happy that i had a pocket full of nuts to share.  The exercise of getting around the large campus made me forget about the cold of the morning, except that my fingers were so numb, i could barely feel the button to click pictures.  In the next few weeks, i'll be returning to the campus when the trees and flowers have realized snow is in our past and it's their time to thrive.
