Our Raccoon Friend

 

a little story about our raccoon friend. i had bought some day old donuts for him, he was very happy with them. But struggled to eat them as they were too hard for his mouth. So he picked up a piece of the donut, walked over to the bowl of water i leave out for him ... and the squirrels ... and he dunked the donut in the water. Making it softer to eat. He did this with the rest of the pieces. The next morning, i gave him a hard boiled egg, still in the shell, and he struggled with it. Finally able to pick it up, he put it in the water. It didn’t soften the egg, but he figures how to bite it where he could hold onto with his mouth. And then he ran off into the bushes. i’m guessing to share it with the family. Hoping to have the babies visiting soon.
