i was forced to stay on the sofa most of today and it reminded me when i came home from a week in the hospital and how SADDI stayed close to me. Normally she would have been sleeping on the bed while i was in the front room, but when i came home, SADDI laid tightly against me. Followed me to the kitchen and bathroom. Today, like every other day these past ten years, there has been such an emptiness. i still wait to reach over and rub SADDI's belly while watching TV.
