Missing my special needs squirrel friend
The other squirrels were so cruel to her,
she would run out to get treats,
but go hide in the scrubs to eat them.
Seattle Sunset
Yesterday was my day to avoid human contact.
So i went to Pike Place Market to witness the sunset.
First there was one sail boat, but as time passed,
Puget Sound filled with sail boats floating in the reflection of gold.
Because of the devastating fires across the west coast,
as the sun was setting behind the mountains, the color of the sun changed.

SADDI enjoyed this simple game.
i'd carry the tennis ball to the park.
Take her leash off in the tennis court.
Toss the ball against the wall.
SADDI would chase it down.
Bring it back to me.
(i never taught her that)
But after a few tosses, she was done.
Just walking away from the ball.
Standing near the gate, waiting for me.
i'd go get the ball.
Put her leash back on and we'd continue our walk.
SADDI had me well trained.

Saisar SADDI Berrong ... (February 28, 1996 ~ August 9, 2009) ... ... ... Some will go out of their way trying to make an impact in life. Some succeed, some fail. The impact SADDI made on my life and in my heart was truly wonderfully overwhelming. Nine years ago today, i kissed my little girl, my best friend, for the last time ... moments before she slipped away. My life is now devoted to honoring SADDI. To share the kindness, friendship, patience and love that SADDI taught me.
