S A D D I

Thinking about the struggles of giving SADDI a bath.  Not only did she try to hold the weight of her body onto the bed, thinking i couldn't lift her.  Or holding out her paws, trying to stop me from putting her into the shower.  The fact that i had to shower with her, talking to her the entire time, trying to calm her.  But she kept crying, trying to escape, even though i rubbed the soap into her thick coat of fur, massaging her.  Finally, when finished, as i begged SADDI to shake off the water while she was in the shower.  i even shook  my body to encourage her.  But she refused.  SADDI just kept looking at me and wanting out of the shower.  So i lifted her dripping body out of the shower and as soon as she was on the bathroom floor she started shaking and water went everywhere.  Water all over the walls, soaking the toilet paper and a smile on her beauty face knowing the torture of the shower was over.  i dried her off, trying to get the remaining water off of her, but her coat was so thick, it was never complete.  As soon as i opened the bathroom door, SADDI would run and jump upon to the bed ... shaking again ... and then laying on the pillows.  And giving me a glare.  i went into the bathroom and finished my own shower and then drying the walls.  When i came out of the bathroom, SADDI would still be glaring at me.  If i laid on the bed to give her a kiss, she would move her head away denying me the chance to get her forgiveness.  It never lasted long, especially when i got her leash and took her for a walk.  She was fluffy and shining, even walking with a little more of a bounce, because she knew she looked good.
