Of course SADDI always loved the attention, but as we took
these pictures she really wasn't into it as we sat on the front porch
and there were so many other people passing by getting her attention.
For a long time, this was the only piece of furniture we had, a uncomfortable red chair. Devon usually sat on a large pillow on the floor, shared with SADDI. While i needed the chair for easier access to get up and down. But from time to time, i was forced to sit on the floor because SADDI's comfort was always much more important. Devon is standing over SADDI, allowing his once long hair to be a wig for her. A look often given by SADDI pretty much says it all; 'take your silly pictures quickly and then leave me alone or make sure I get some special treats'.
One of my favorite days ever because of all the beautiful pictures we took of SADDI and with SADDI. Today, i rarely even use my camera anymore. The last time i did, it was so dusty. We wanted to take some 'family' pictures, so SADDI unhappily received a bath and then we sat out on the back porch to capture the evening sun. SADDI, happily, sat on my lap as Devon took several pictures and later sat next to us for several complete family photographs.
