SADDI, was always full of love (except for other doggies). There was only one time when she reacted negatively towards a human. A guy who had come into our yard, often, and used it as a bathroom. As he walked past us, one day, SADDI let out a soft growl. That was the only time SADDI did that. Otherwise she was always welcoming to human attention. i remember one beautiful morning we were seated at the local college and a group of Japanese students walked by, SADDI was smiling, sitting so proudly, leaned up against me. The students stopped and asked if they could take SADDI's picture. i moved over and allowed SADDI to have the spotlight. She loved it. That big beautiful smile, her curly tail wagging. The students thanked us and went on with their day. i tried to give SADDI a kiss, because i was so proud of her. But she didn't like public kisses, at home it was fine. But i gave her one anyway. And we continued to sit there, people walking by smiling at this beautiful doggie smiling at them.
